BSNA Study-Tutor Program
BSNA has a study-tutor program for current junior & senior nursing majors enrolled in upper level nursing and clinical nursing courses.  The program is free of charge and will offer assistance with your nursing courses.  This includes study skills, time & stress management information, and individual study/tutor sessions.  The program will be every Thursday 10:10 am - 11:50 am.  Times and exact dates will be announced via e-mail and posted flyers in the CON.  For more information and to participate, please contact any member on the Mentor/Support Committee.

Throughout the semester, information on studying and study resources will be offered to the pre-nursing majors.

BSNA Pitt County Head Start Volunteer Program
BSNA is contributor, sponsor, and giver to the Pitt County Head Start in Greenville, NC.  Last semester we organized a "Classroom Drive" to get more school supplies, books, and toys for the classrooms, students and teachers of the Head Start.  We raised a valued $350.00 in toys and $50.oo in monetary donations.  We are very proud of our efforts and grateful that we have a chance to help a much needed part of our community, considering it deals directly with education and minority students.

BSNA volunteers at the Pitt County Head Start the last Tuesday of every month for 1-2 hours working on special projects that the school needs for their pre-K students (ages 3-5 years old).  Last semester we completed a bulletin board, read to the students, and helped the teachers in the classroom with various projects.  Do to the success of the program; we will be continuing it this semester.  If you would like to volunteer or need more information on the volunteer program, please contact the BSNA President.
