MSN Alternate Entry Option

Introduction

The Alternate Entry (AE) MSN option is an accelerated option of study leading to the Master of Science in Nursing degree for individuals who have earned a baccalaureate degree in another field. This option consists of two phases designed to satisfy RN licensure requirements and to educate students in advanced practice and selected clinical concentration nursing roles.

The option consists of two phases:

• Phase I: Pre-licensure
• Phase II: Nursing Concentration
