East Carolina Center for Nursing Leadership (ECCNL)
History
In 2006 the East Carolina University College of Nursing applied for and received $20,000 from the BB&T Leadership Enhancement Fund to establish a Center for Nursing Leadership (ECCNL) at ECU which would be the first in a school of nursing in NC. The Center was created to serve this region and state by fostering leadership development among undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and practicing nurses in this area.
